Q: HOW CAN THOSE BE YOUR PRICES?
A: We have cut out the middleman. It's really that simple. We create and craft our own designs from the best materials and components available on the open market. We use a web platform that reduces our overhead which is impossible to achieve in a retail store. We have changed the way you buy, but have not scrimped on quality or design. We've just made it simpler to get you what you want, when you want it and at about a hundred bucks.
Q: WHAT OTHER BRANDS DO YOU CARRY?
A: None at the moment, but we're thinking about it.
Q: CAN YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE US?
A: We can currently fill prescriptions and ship orders within the United States and Canada.
Q: DO YOU USE ANY OTHER MATERIALS TO MANUFACTURE YOUR FRAMES?
A: Not just yet. We have put our weight behind acetate and chose it because we love it. We are offering our frames custom crafted from the best quality available, and it shows. Hold them up to the light and see the amazing colors! Our collection is extremely light and comfortable, but aggressively styled.
Q: CAN I TRY BEFORE I BUY?
A: In addition to our Virtual Try-On Mirror, and our Home Try On service, look out for us on your college campus or at a pop-up shop in your city. Stay tuned to our events page on http://tortoiseandblonde.com.
Q: IS THE HOME TRY-ON FREE?
A: We charge $1 (which goes to charity) in order to capture your credit card data. We will also authorize your credit card for $150 purely as a hold. This is not a charge, and you may see this on your statement. We reserve the right to charge you $87 x however many frames you have outstanding if our sample frames are not returned.
Q: HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY GLASSES TO ARRIVE?
A: Typically within five business days, but, more complicated prescriptions will demand extra time. Once we have received your order, you will then be notified by email. In similar fashion, once your order has been shipped, a second notification will be sent to you. Depending on your prescription, you could have your glasses the next day for an extra charge. Information regarding our rush delivery service is available in the checkout section of our website.
Q: HOW MUCH WILL THE DELIVERY COST ME?
A: Basic delivery service via common carrier is included with orders over $97. Ground shipping is offered for a $10.00 flat rate. If you would like your sooner — Express shipping is available for a competitive up-charge.
Q: I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN MY ORDER, HOW SHOULD I GO ABOUT DOING SO?
A: We accept returns for most purchases up to 30 days from day your receive your purchase. To begin processing your return, you must email firstname.lastname@example.org for further details. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON ANY SALE OR FLASH ITEMS UNLESS THERE IS AN ERROR MADE ON OUR END. WE ALSO WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN ORDERED AFTER USING OUR HOME TRY ON SERVICE.
